15 brand new Christmas pieces for children aged between 4 and 11

This educational pack consists of a CD of the pieces being performed, together with a book of all the music, which you are allowed to photocopy (for use of your school only).  Also on the CD is a separate recording of all the accompaniments, which can be used for rehearsal or performance, if required.

The choir performing on the CD is the 'Minims Plus' choir from Haywards Primary School in Crediton, Devon.   They are a very young choir, as you will hear, the majority of children being between 5 and 7 years of age.

Under the direction of their conductor (and teacher), Shirley Vallance, they have worked very hard for this recording, which took place at the end of June this year at the school.  They very much enjoyed the experience and have shown great enthusiasm for the pieces throughout.  Around 45 children were involved, and we are very grateful to the school for allowing the choir to take part in this recording.

The pieces are intended for children between the ages of 4 and 11, so you will appreciate that some are easier than others, and obviously a choir of older children would perform quite differently to a young choir.

All accompaniments have been written for piano, but for recording purposes drums and bass guitar were added for effect.

The pack costs just £20.00 (plus postage and packing of £1.50) and is available from Monday 6 September 2004.
