The words are adapted from the charming, but seemingly little-known, Canadian Folk Song. This is a new setting that makes this a really lovely little piece that audiences will really like. There is a lot of variation and part of the arrangement includes a delightful counter-melody in the piano part to complement the beauty of the vocal lines Recommended!
