The words of this hymn are by John Greenleaf Whittier (1807 � 1892) and are set to an old Irish air, known as the Londonderry Air. A lovely piece, appealingly arranged for unaccompanied voices. The vocal lines are shown in the piano part for rehearsal purposes.
